ArubaTaxiFares.com (“the Site”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and your rights.
1. Overview
We are committed to protecting your privacy and collecting only the minimum information necessary to operate this Site.
You may use ArubaTaxiFares.com without:
- Creating an account
- Providing your name, email address, or phone number
- Accepting cookies or tracking technologies
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Do Not Need to Provide
We do not require you to provide personally identifiable information to use this Site.
2.2 Server Logs
Like most websites, our web servers automatically process certain technical information when you visit the Site, including:
- IP addresses
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Requested pages and timestamps
- Referring websites
Purpose
This information is processed solely for:
- Technical operation and troubleshooting
- Security monitoring
- Abuse prevention and rate limiting
IP addresses are processed only at the server level and are not stored in analytics systems.
Retention
Server logs are retained for approximately 30 days and are then automatically deleted.
2.3 Analytics Data
We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics platform that is self-hosted in the United States and configured in cookieless mode.
Umami collects only anonymous, aggregated metrics, including:
- Page views and navigation patterns
- Referral sources
- General device type (mobile, tablet, desktop)
- Browser type
- Country-level location only
Umami does not collect:
- Personal identifiers
- IP addresses in analytics data
- Persistent user identifiers
- Cross-site or cross-device tracking data
This information cannot be used to identify individual visitors and is used solely to improve the Site.
2.4 Search and Interactive Features
The Site includes interactive features — such as the fare finder and site search — that allow you to enter free-text queries. This input is processed solely to return relevant results and is not stored beyond standard server log retention (see Section 2.2 ).
We employ automated detection to identify and strip personally identifiable information (PII) from search inputs before they reach server logs. While no automated system is perfect, this measure is designed to minimize the risk of personal data being inadvertently retained.
We recommend not entering personal information — such as names, phone numbers, or room numbers — into search fields.
2.5 Contact Communications
If you contact us via email or the contact form on the Site, we may process:
- Name (if provided)
- Email address
- Message content
- Timestamps and basic metadata
- Technical metadata (such as IP address at time of form submission)
Purpose
This information is used solely to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Provide support
- Prevent spam or abuse
Retention
Contact communications are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your request and may be deleted thereafter. You may request deletion at any time.
We do not use contact data for marketing and do not share it with third parties.
2.6 Bot Protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect against spam and automated abuse. Turnstile is a privacy-preserving alternative to traditional CAPTCHA systems.
What Turnstile collects:
When you interact with the contact form, Turnstile may process:
- Browser and device characteristics
- Mouse movements and interaction patterns
- Page load timing data
- A challenge token to verify the submission
Purpose
Turnstile is used solely to:
- Verify that form submissions are made by humans, not bots
- Protect the Site from spam and abuse
Data handling
Turnstile data is processed by Cloudflare in accordance with their Privacy Policy . We do not receive or store the underlying interaction data — only a pass/fail verification result.
